形态描述
外形和口部构造亦与平舟原缨口鳅相似，但吻褶边缘圆钝。吻须短小，呈乳突状。肛门位置近腹鳍腋部。体被不规则的横斑。
生物学
This species differs from other member of Vanmanenia in having irregular vertical bands and larger number of the pectoral rays. It is found in the Lancangjiang River and the upper reaches of the Red River.
